Frequently asked questions

Where are you located?

The clinic is at 900 Guelph Street in Kitchener, ON. Park in the lot to the right of the building and come in through the front door on Guelph St. Head up the two sets of stairs just inside, go through the door on your right, and you’ll find unit 208 two doors down on your left. See the map and directions.

Do you offer direct billing?

Not at this time. You’ll receive an emailed receipt right after your treatment that you can submit to your insurance provider.

Can I claim massage therapy on my insurance?

Treatments are provided by a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), and you’ll get an emailed receipt after each visit to submit for reimbursement. Coverage depends on your plan, so check with your insurance provider about what your benefits include.

What treatments do you offer, and how much do they cost?

Registered massage therapy (Swedish and trigger point) and prenatal massage are available from 15 to 90 minutes, from $65. Cupping is available from 30 to 60 minutes, from $86. See services and pricing for every session length.

Who will be treating me?

Cassandra Plant, RMT. She graduated from the Ontario College of Health & Technology in 2018 and has additional certifications in pelvic health massage, cupping, and pre/post-natal massage. Read more about Cassandra.

How early should I arrive?

Please arrive no more than five minutes before your appointment.

This is my first massage. What should I expect?

Wear whatever clothing you’re comfortable in. After a quick greeting and an initial assessment, I’ll step out of the treatment room so you can undress to your comfort level and lie face down between the sheets. I’ll knock before coming back in to make sure you’re ready.

You’ll be carefully draped throughout: only the area being worked on is uncovered, and it’s covered again before moving on. We’ll check in during the treatment so you stay comfortable and warm, and the pressure feels right.

What about long hair and jewellery?

If you have long hair, please wear it up. That keeps lotion out of your hair and lets me work on your whole neck.

Please remove any jewellery so it doesn’t get damaged during treatment.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations require 24 hours’ notice. No-shows and late cancellations are charged 100% of the booked service fee, and future appointments can’t be booked until the fee is paid in full. Payment can be made by e-Transfer or Square invoice.

How do I book with you?

Booking is online, so you can compare your calendar with mine anytime. My online schedule is always up to date. Phone booking isn’t available at this time.
